Oakland History Tours with the OMCA
Explore Oakland’s patchwork of neighborhoods in the best way—by cycling through them with an experienced guide. From May through October, experience bike tours of this eclectic city on select Sundays once a month; destinations include downtown Oakland, the port area, Lake Merritt, and Fruitvale.
Docents from the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) lead monthly tours from May to October; Oakland Librarians will be guest tour guides in July, August and September. Librarian tours will include the opportunity to get your free library card and a special behind-the-scenes stop in the Main library.
