During trying times it's important to take time out for self-care because you can't pour from an empty cup. Practice family yoga, mindful breathing, and self-care.

There's been a lot going in the world and it's important to take time to nourish mind, body, and spirit - however you choose to define it. Below are some recommendations to support family fitness and community wellness.

Times have been so stressful

Times have been so stressful over the last few months. Thanks for the reminder to make sure that we need to take care of ourselves. I know since sheltering in that I have not moved as much and have fallen into some comfort eating. I also realize that the media I consume may not be having a good effect on my over all well being.

I'm trying to make time for walking, but am having less luck with cutting out the cookies. I think one thing that I can be more mindful of is spending too much time on Instagram or Youtube. I'm feeling like I should read more, walk more and create art more.

I appreciate these resources. I am also happy to see some of the Spanish language resources, which give me a change to work on my Spanish language skills as well as get healthier!
