FREE TAX ASSISTANCE @ THE OAKLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY
February 1, 2008 – April 15, 2008

In partnership with the American Association of Retired Persons, the Oakland Public Library offers free tax assistance provided by trained volunteers at the following locations and days. In addition, AARP volunteers suggest you bring your social security card and photo identification. Be sure to bring copies of your last year’s federal and state tax returns and all materials pertaining to your 2007 tax forms. Seniors, ages 60 and over, will be given preference at walk-in sites only.

The following schedule is still tentative, so please call ahead to confirm times.
