    Very simple reading and writing exercises introduce basic religious concepts for beginning readers. Easy to read, abridged versions of familiar Bible stories followed by activities such as word hunt and fill in the blank. Books use a word-picture technique to teach sight words.

    S hort, easy sentences with lots of repetition retell familiar Bible stories. Colorful illustrations.

    Simplified Bible verses, each followed by writing exercises including crossword puzzles, sentence completion, decoding, and word hunts. An application of the lesson to real life situations ends each study section.
