All library locations will be closed on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday. The Main Library and the Brookfield, Eastmont, Piedmont Avenue and Golden Gate branches will be open on Tuesday, September 2nd. All other library locations will be closed that day.

About the Lakeview Branch
Lakeview has approximately 35,000 books, compact disks, videos, DVDs, audio books, audiocassettes, and magazines and newspapers for all age. Circulating materials are largely of popular interest, with a strong emphasis on best sellers and Books on Tape and Books on CD. The Books on Tape and Books on CD collection isone of the largest in the branches. The magazine collection is sizeable and there is one Chinese language newspaper.
The branch is equipped with four computers with Internet access for public use.

David Fair, a native of Houston, moved to California as a young adult, enjoying camping, star-gazing and nature with his family. He has traveled extensively in his work and has savored the beauty of nature, capturing his awe of it in landscape photos.
Bring your neighbors and other fans of excellent photographic images of dramatic landscapes to Lakeview Branch Library. The artistic works by local photographer, David Fair, are featured from August 2nd through August 29th in both the main room at Lakeview and Lakeview's meeting room.
