About the Brookfield Branch

Brookfield Branch has a collection of approximately 22,000 items. Circulating materials are largely of popular interest, with a strong emphasis on practical how-to topics and fiction.

There is a small reference collection with current materials. Special interest collections include a Black History and Black Fiction collection (2,400 volumes), Spanish language materials (approximately 1,7000 volumes serving both adults and children).

The branch is equipped with eight (8) computers with internet access and word processing capabilities for public use. It is also equipped with Kurzweil 3000, a scanning, reading, and writing solution for people with learning disabilities, reading difficulties, or low vision.
