Homework Help at the Library
Oakland Public Library now has a free drop-in Homework Assistance Program for teens, ages 12 to 18 years old. If you want help in English, math, research and science from an experienced volunteer tutor, you can come to one of six Oakland libraries for assistance. No advance registration is needed; just drop in on the days you want homework help to complete your assignments.

Snacks provided.  TABs now meet at the TeenZone and at the Asian Library. For TeenZone contact Brian Boies at 238-7232 and for Asian Library contact Vicky Chen at 238-3400. If your library doesn’t have a TAB please let us know you want one!  The TeenZone TAB now meets from 4:15 to 5:15 pm on the 1st Friday of every month at the Main Library TeenZone, 125 14th Street

Teen Zone Makeover
The Main Library’s TeenZone has temporarily relocated to the West Auditorium during the construction phase of a $275,000 remodeling project that will result in a Teen Computer Lab, private group study rooms, quiet reading areas, a video section for programming and instruction, increased shelf space for more materials in all formats, and more display space to showcase teen art.
