Photographer, poet, author and performance artist, Opal Palmer Adisa, exhibits her photo images of Haiti, taken one year after the devastating earthquake. She has captured the immense resilience of a people who will never be destroyed! Love and determination are etched in their gene pool.
Ms. Adisa is a Distinguished Professor at California College of the Arts in Oakland and an award winning poet. She has travelled extensively and has been in residency in Sacatar in Brazil, El Gouna, Eqypt, McColl, North Carolina and other worldwide places of learning. She has written and published 14 works, novels, short story collections and poetry. Her newest two collections of stories are 4-Headed Woman and Incantations & Rites. Incantations and Rites was co-authored with Devorah Major.
