A Novel Idea? Join OPL's NaNoWriMo Write-In Party!

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) logo

November is National Novel Writing Month, and the library wants to help you complete your novel!

We'll join thousands of authors world-wide with a NaNoWriMo Write-In Party, including our own librarian from OPL who’s a publisher author, Andrew Demcak. Andrew is a poet and novelist whose work has been widely published and anthologized; he is writing his third book in his Elusive Spark Teen series for NaNoWriMo this year. Another writer, Denise Harris, will also be available to get you inspired!

You can also sign up for periodic email reminders from your friendly librarians to keep you on task to complete your novel, or we can help you sign up with NaNoWriMo!

Get started with a quiet writing space, complete with WiFi, inspirational ideas, help from volunteers, and plenty of reference resources.

Then on Saturday, 11/25, at 2 PM, we'll gather again to celebrate your completed work; we'll have resources available on what to do next.
