Tai Chi Chih - Joy through Movement with Jenn Biehn
A form of qigong, Tai Chi Chih is a moving meditation consisting of twenty easy-to-learn, accessible movements. Tai Chi gathers, circulates, and balances the chi or energy of the body with the intention of bringing stillness and calm in the midst of activity. Sitting or standing, the movements are practiced with softness and continuity and can release tension, negativity, and stress. Open to youth and elders and those in between! Join us for one or several or all of the classes on Monday mornings starting September 16th through November 4th.
Jenn Biehn has been a certified instructor of Tai Chi Chih (TCC) for 30 years and teaches currently at East Bay Meditation Center in downtown Oakland. She has offered TCC to those healing from trauma in various community-based organizations, as well as to staff and faculty at City College of San Francisco.
