Youth Speaks' Afterschool Poetry Workshops

October marks the beginning of a brand new cycle of FREE After School Writing & Performance Workshops! As always, each workshop focuses on a different and distinct aspect of writing and performance, from fiction, playwriting, storytelling, and poetry to performance, desktop publishing, and improvisation. Taught by lead poet mentors, writers, spoken word artists, and activists, they are conducted throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Each workshop is open to any teen 13-19 years old.
