Meet Jackson Fahnestock, author of Shu Wei’s Revenge: A Young Man’s Journey into the Depths of the Underworld.

Featured on the cover of Publishers Weekly, Shu Wei’s Revenge was inspired by author Jackson Fahnestock’s numerous trips to China and his extensive research. This historical fiction adventure, set in 1898, features an orphaned Chinese immigrant teen cub reporter who risks death to regain his honor. Some characters were based on real people such as the “Angry Angel of Chinatown,” who rescued thousands of Chinese enslaved girls and women.
