Upcoming Engagement Meetings Regarding Library Director Recruitment

The City of Oakland has engaged The Hawkins Company, an Executive Search firm, to assist the City in identifying and recruiting candidates to serve as the new Director of the Oakland Public Library.

These community engagement meetings are open to the public and allow those interested to share their thoughts and ideas about the qualifications, qualities, and characteristics that would make an ideal candidate for the new Director of the Oakland Public Library.

Scheduled Meetings:
Thursday, June 14 (1 p.m. – 3 p.m.) at 81st Ave Branch Library
Thursday, June 14 (5 p.m. – 7 p.m.) at Cesar E. Chavez Branch Library
Friday, June 15 (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.) at Rockridge Branch Library
Friday, June 15 (2 p.m. – 4 p.m.) at African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO)
