Suggest a Purchase

The Oakland Public Library welcomes suggestions for books and other items to add to our collection. To suggest a purchase, send an e-mail message to our Collection Management Librarian at ademcak@oaklandlibrary.org.

Please include as much as possible of the following information in your e-mail message:

• What kind of item is this? (book, magazine, DVD, music DC, etc.)
• Author
• Title
• Publisher
• ISBN/ISSN

What is this about (what subject)? Where did you hear about it? Is there a subject area in which you feel the library needs more materials?
