The project is funded by the Library Services and Technology Act through the California State Library and administered by California Digital Library, University of California, host of the Online Archive of California.

This exhibition displays some of the unique items from the collections of the Oakland History Room and the Art, Music, History and Literature division of the Oakland Main Library that were selected for inclusion in this project.
