Secret Security Staff Member
To Speak About Identity Theft on October 11

(Oakland, CA)—Millions of people every year fall victim to the devastating crime of identity theft. Hear the very latest in how to protect yourself when a Secret Security staff member tackles the topic of identity theft at a free talk from 6 to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, October 11, on the first floor of the Main Library of Oakland Public Library, located at 125-14th Street. The talk is part of a new series titled Financial Topics and You, a monthly program ofinformational talks co-hosted by Timothy Yee, an active leader in the Bay Area financial industry for more than 16 years.
Working under the Department of Treasury, the Secret Security has had to respond to the rise in white collar crime, including ATM theft and identity theft. A Secret Security expert will share tips on how to avoid becoming a victim and what to do if your private information and credit has been compromised.

Presenters for the series will include Mr. Yee and other invited guests. In addition to his own work in the financial field, Timothy Yee hosts a financial talk radio show Sundays on KQKE AM titled What Really Matters!, where he strives to communicate vital financial information to the public.
