Oakland Library to Provide Free Election Literature
About Issues and Candidates

(Oakland, CA)— As a service to the public, the Oakland Public Library will provide table space where patrons can find free campaign literature relating to issues and candidates on the November 7th ballot. Campaign representatives can submit printed election materials to a librarian at the Main Library or any Oakland Public Library branch. Materials will be made available to the public starting Saturday, September 2, 2006, and continuing until the November election.
