by Participating in Oakland's Teen Summer Reading Game

(Oakland, CA)—There’s still time for Oakland teens to enter the 2006 Teen Summer Reading Game at Oakland Public Library and earn a chance to win a brand new home computer donated by PC Professional of Oakland, California! The HP DX2000 computer boasts a 2.53 GHz Celeron D325 processor, 265 MB RAM, a 40 GB hard drive, CD-ROM and a 10/100/1000 network card. It comes with a monitor, keyboard, mouse and free home installation, courtesy of PC Professional. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on Saturday, September 16, 1:30 pm in the Main Library’s TeenZone, 125 14th Street, Oakland.

In order to be eligible for the raffle drawing for this prize, anyone entering 7th to 12th grades should register for the Teen Summer Reading Game now as the program ends on September 5th. By reading and writing reviews of books, blogs, magazines, comics and even CD-liner notes, participating teens will be eligible for a series of prizes, including a paperback book and other cool incentives. With every review submitted, they will also earn a chance to win the free computer.
