Lakeview Branch Library To Close for New Carpeting

(Oakland, CA)— The Oakland Public Library’s Lakeview Branch at 550 El Embarcadero will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, May 14 – Thursday, May 15, 2008 in order to install new carpeting. It is presently scheduled to reopen on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 12 noon. Users can return library materials to the book drops during this time period.

The nearest public library is the Main facility, located at 125 14th Street (between Oak and Madison Streets). The Main Library is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-8:00 p.m.
