Oakland Public Library Presents Workshop on
Making Sense of the Medicare Enrollment Period

(Oakland, CA)— Confused by the new drug benefits and options for gap coverage? Have questions about any of the 26 Medicare Advantage plans available in Alameda County in 2007? With the enrollment period deadline coming on March 31, 2007, Medicare users will not want to miss Making Sense of the Medicare Enrollment Period, a free workshop presented by Jess Strange of Health Insurance Advocacy Program (HICAP) and Oakland Public Library. Learn how to navigate the Medicare maze and get your questions answered on Saturday, March 3, 2pm, at the Main Library, 125-14th Street.
Our speaker will present an overview of the Medicare program and Medicare’s prescription drug benefits as well as discuss options for supplementing Medicare, such as Medicare Advantage plans and Medigap policies.
