For Grades K-6. Starts January through June 2008.

OLAS, a new service of the Oakland Public Library, offers students access to computers as well as collections that can help them with their school assignments. Elementary students can also take advantage of free drop-in homework assistance, as well as a variety of fun and enriching activities.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 3-5 p.m. and Wednesdays: 2-5 p.m.

Main Library Children’s Room, 125 14th Street, 238-3615

Golden Gate Branch, 5606 San Pablo Avenue, 597-5023

Cesar E. Chavez Branch, 3301 East 12th Street, Suite 271, 535-5620

Enrichment Workshops will be held Thursdays at Golden Gate Branch and Wednesdays at the three other sites.
